Since Wright joined the Houston- headquartered managed care organization in 2020, its plans have grown to cover 500,000 members, with reported provider satisfaction reaching a record high. Under her leadership, Community was awarded a contract to manage Texas’ STAR+PLUS Medicaid managed care program for adults with disabilities and those who are at least 65 years old. Wright also guides CareerReady, which helps high school seniors and pregnant enrollees to pursue an education that will qualify them for jobs that offer a livable wage.
