Women Leaders in Healthcare - 2024

Steed has spearheaded efforts to improve quality and patients’ experience of care at the four-hospital safety-net system serving Ohio’s Cuyahoga County, all while promoting health equity and community wellness. She is overseeing a $1 billion multi-campus upgrade, including a new bed tower and outpatient health center on the system’s main campus and a 112-bed behavioral health hospital in Cleveland Heights. In 2023, Steed kicked off MetroHealth’s inaugural Multicultural Women’s Health and Empowerment Expo, which offered free health screenings to almost 3,000 attendees.
