Lindholz has run the Kroger Co.’s pharmacy, clinical and nutrition operations and services since 2017. In addition to heading a 22,000-person practitioner team, she was the lead architect of the supermarket company’s “Food as Medicine” initiative, which uses partnerships and technologies to help shoppers make healthier dietary choices through nutrition education. She has also championed an expanded scope for pharmacists in supporting population health efforts.
