Cone Health comprises more than 150 care sites, including five hospitals, ambulatory care facilities, outpatient surgery centers, urgent care centers and more than 120 physician practice locations.

Under board and executive leadership, Cone Health has:

• Strengthened partnerships with North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University involving clinical education, research and strategic workforce development.  
• Launched the Health Equity and Belonging curriculum in the health system’s e-learning platform. It consists of more than 60 courses focused on diversity, equity and inclusion topics.
• Started a monthly DEI Leader Toolkit, which provides leaders with prepared exercises through videos, scripts and conversation starters to facilitate meaningful and engaging discussions with their teams.
