CHOP comprises two hospitals—one in Philadelphia and one in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania—more than 50 primary care practices, specialty care facilities, surgery centers and urgent care centers.

Under board and executive leadership, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia has: 

• Entered a 10-year partnership with the West Philadelphia Skills Initiative, an organization that bridges the gap between major local institutions and long-time neighborhood residents by creating training programs for staff.
• Engaged more than 7,500 community members through the Healthier Together Program, which is focused on addressing social determinants of health to improve the wellness of children and families living near CHOP’s Philadelphia campus.
• Enlisted more than 700 employee volunteers in opportunities to serve local communities through a variety of initiatives.
