Zink and her team developed tools to continuously monitor community health, which helps the company take a personalized approach to member outreach and health outcomes while also using data to better understand the socioeconomic factors at play. The initiative also included an interoperability component to help providers better care for patients by knowing their medical history and barriers to services. As a result of the programs, the insurer has recorded, on average, a 27% improvement in quality scores for participating providers. Zink and the team are developing generative artificial intelligence use cases, among other initiatives, to better understand and personalize healthcare.
