After joining BJC HealthCare in 2017, Fox oversaw implementation of the St. Louis-based system’s new electronic health record system. He has since been a driving force behind several digital initiatives, including increased capabilities for scheduling nursing staff and improved consumer engagement tools. He is responsible for information technology, information security operations and biomedical engineering technology at the health system and has publicly spoken about the importance of CIOs infusing technology into every strategy for operational excellence. Fox also works with the IT Senior Management Forum, an organization focused on expanding the pipeline of Black leaders in technology, and serves as a board member for College Bound St. Louis, which offers support to help students from low-income backgrounds attend and graduate college.
