Halamka is helping to steer Mayo Clinic on its path to becoming a global leader in digital healthcare, in part by shepherding partnerships with health systems, pharmaceutical companies, payers and startups to launch products and programs around early disease detection, condition treatment and operational enhancement. Under Halamka’s leadership, Mayo Clinic Platform has launched an advanced care at home model and tools geared toward making it easier for clinicians to gather insights from remote patient-monitoring devices. He is also collaborating on research to address algorithmic bias. Halamka previously served as executive director of the Health Technology Exploration Center for Beth Israel Lahey Health.
