Jackson has spent considerable time at the Houston-based system expanding its Community Benefits Grant Program and the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Grant Program, which have provided more than $101 million in direct funding and $52 million in in-kind lab and radiology funding to more than 70 local organizations supporting healthcare for indigent patients. Jackson also works with the organization’s information technology and innovation teams to identify and document social needs.
