Since coming aboard at the Far Rockaway, New York, hospital in 2017—and then being promoted to her current role in 2019—Kukreja has significantly contributed to building partnerships with local churches, schools, government agencies and community-based organizations to address health disparities. During her tenure, St. John’s Episcopal Hospital has secured millions of dollars in grants and rolled out a wide variety of programs to address food insecurity, connect individuals with vaccinations and provide blood pressure screenings, to name a few.
