Top Diversity Leaders in Healthcare - 2023

Since joining the association, which promotes the development and advancement of Black healthcare leaders, in 2021, Mallory’s focuses have included amplifying Black voices in healthcare and building a pipeline of Black healthcare workers. She helped start ELEVATE, an initiative in which Black senior healthcare executives provide support to rising leaders. Half of the inaugural cohort was promoted or hired to more senior positions within a year. Earlier this year, Mallory partnered with Virginia Commonwealth University’s Department of Health Administration to create a webinar series for Black individuals working in healthcare.
