Top Diversity Leaders in Healthcare - 2023

Since joining Atrium Health Navicent in 2021, Finley has championed the development of a supplier diversity initiative to increase the hospital's use of businesses owned by veterans, women or people of color. The efforts have already led to a 63% increase in local-market spending with businesses owned by people of color. Finley also serves on Advocate Health’s newly formed Equity Executive Council, which is helping guide development of the Advocate National Center for Health Equity, based in Milwaukee. As chair of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Finley is spearheading its campaign to raise $1 million for the Fund for Healthcare Leadership by March 2025. The money will be used to help individuals from underrepresented backgrounds to acquire the education and experience they need to advance to C-suite positions.
