Taneja leads the venture capital firm that is partnering with several prominent organizations–including Intermountain Health, Banner Health, Hackensack Meridian Health and HCA Healthcare–to connect the healthcare sector with digital technology at a large scale. In October, General Catalyst launched Health Assurance Transformation Corp., or HATco, an advisory firm to help health systems adopt digital platforms and embrace value-based care. HATco expects to buy a health system within its first year of operation. Taneja was an early investor in Livongo, which was acquired by Teladoc in an $18.5 billion deal, along with several financial and cloud companies. He is a member of the Stanford School of Medicine Board of Fellows.
