Jacobson, CEO of Milwaukee-based Froedtert since 2012, has overseen the organization as it’s grown its regional footprint in a competitive market. In 2023, Froedtert signed a definitive merger agreement with ThedaCare, following their joint venture creating two health campuses. Should the deal receive regulatory approval, Jacobson will become CEO of the combined organization, which will operate 18 hospitals in Wisconsin, until she retires in mid-2024. Froedtert also recently agreed to take full ownership of the health plan Network Health, which it has co-owned with Ascension Wisconsin, to complement its population health efforts. Before joining Froedtert in 2010, Jacobson spent 22 years in leadership at Chicago-based Rush University System for Health.
