In addition to his role as RSV founder and CEO, Smith is executive chair of fast-growing value-based care company CareBridge, an RSV initiative that served about 115,000 patients in 13 states and the District of Columbia as of 2023. He is also chair and CEO of another RSV initiative, Main Street Health, which partners with rural primary care clinics and takes full risk on their existing patients. Earlier in Smith’s career, he was director of the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation; deputy director of the White House Domestic Policy Council; senior adviser to the Secretary of the U.S. Health and Human Services Department; and deputy administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
