Corwin, who has worked at NewYork- Presbyterian since starting his internal medicine residency and cardiology training there in 1979, took on the top job at the integrated academic healthcare system in 2011. Since then, the organization has almost doubled in size, now including 10 hospitals and 200 clinics across the metropolitan area. In 2020, Corwin established the Dalio Center for Health Justice to address health disparities and the systemic inequities that drive them. In 2022, NewYork-Presbyterian under Corwin’s leadership published its first health equity report.
