Under board and executive leadership, Christus Health has:

• Established both Executive Minority Fellowship and Mentoring and Leadership development programs for associates. Leadership also sets annual goals around hiring and promotion metrics to promote diversity in the workforce.
• Launched a remote patient monitoring program in response to the COVID-19 pandemic that has led to uninsured and minority populations receiving additional support services.
• To help staff and caregivers more effectively communicate with limited-English proficient or deaf or hard of hearing patients, and ensure patients can fully understand their care and participate in their treatment plans, Christus standardized and enhanced the health system’s Language Access Services program.
