Founder and CEO, Bayesian Health
Saria founded Bayesian Health, an artificial intelligence-based clinical decision-support platform that allows health systems to use electronic health records to catch disease complications early and improve outcomes. She is also the John C. Malone Associate Professor of Computer Science at the Malone Center for Engineering in Healthcare at Johns Hopkins University. She has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed articles with credits in publications like Health Affairs, JAMA Neurology, Nature Medicine and Biostatistics. Her body of work has accelerated development of diagnostic and treatment planning tools that rely on machine learning and AI to individualize care and identify warning signs of life-threatening conditions like sepsis.
