Dredge advances SSM Health’s innovation, research/development and venture activities. He’s the first American to be accepted into a specialized doctorate program at the University of Cambridge in the U.K. designed for senior executives with the goal of creating new globally impactful management theories and organizations. He co-leads the Healthcare Utility Initiative—an SSM Health partnership with the University of Cambridge that aims to improve access to affordable healthcare by developing and supporting new, disruptive not-for-profit business models. The model underpins Civica Rx, which is increasing access and lowering the cost of prescription drugs, as well as Graphite Health, a member-led company working to advance digital healthcare to improve patient outcomes and lower costs.
