When Quirk joined CareMax in 2015, he knew the company’s approach was a model for senior care. But to scale that model and make it replicable for even more communities and be successful, he knew a technology shift was necessary. He and his team set out to develop a platform to harness data from myriad sources and make it easily actionable, driving change at the point of care and giving providers the ability to provide patients the care they need, when they need it. That has been critical, especially in a value-based environment, since CareMax members are primarily low-income seniors and many have chronic conditions needing consistent monitoring.
