Top Diversity Leaders in Healthcare - 2022

Wang, who joined Healthfirst in 2008, has spent her career working to ensure New York state residents have equitable access to medical services. Under her leadership, Healthfirst has partnered with hospitals, providers and community organizations to implement programs—focusing on issues such as maternal, senior and chronic care—geared toward narrowing health disparities. Wang also served as a co-chair of New York’s COVID-19 Vaccine Equity Task Force, aimed at reducing barriers to vaccination among the most vulnerable populations.
