During his 27-year tenure, Robinson has helped build Nationwide into one of the country’s largest children’s teaching hospitals, which includes the pediatric department of the Ohio State University College of Medicine and a National Institutes of Health-funded freestanding pediatric research facility. Under his leadership, the hospital opened a 12-story tower in 2012 and doubled the size of the campus focused on research. He is continuing to shepherd a $760 million further expansion. Robinson joined the hospital in 1995 as an assistant treasurer and has held various executive roles, rising to the top post in 2019. He has grown the hospital’s investment portfolio to almost $3 billion from $100 million.
