Haddad is head of the 2,200-member association representing Catholic hospitals, long-term care facilities and other providers, a role she’s held since 2019. Under her leadership, the organization has worked to increase Medicaid coverage in non-expansion states and to strengthen other programs that serve the most vulnerable populations, including the Children’s Health Insurance Program. She has long promoted building on the Affordable Care Act to continue advancing access and affordability. Haddad has spoken out in favor of provider partnerships with tech companies and other organizations in pursuit of innovation. Before being named CEO, Haddad served as the association’s vice president of sponsorship and mission services.
