Williams-Brinkley oversees all of Kaiser Permanente’s care delivery and health plan operations in Washington, D.C., suburban Maryland, Baltimore and Northern Virginia. Under her leadership, in early 2022 Kaiser expanded its partnership with the University of Maryland Medical System, granting two of its hospitals in Baltimore and Prince George’s Counties the Kaiser Premier designation. She also oversaw the opening of a $200 million replacement hospital in Woodbridge, Virginia. Known for her leadership on health equity issues, Williams-Brinkley has worked to increase access to health insurance coverage and care throughout the region. She joined Kaiser in 2017 as president of its Northwest region and has been in her current role since 2020.
