Davis was tapped in 2021 to lead the integrated health system, which includes 40 hospitals, more than 800 physician offices and clinics, and an insurance division with more than 4 million members. Davis has spent 18 years at UPMC, most recently as president of the health services division, responsible for operations across Pennsylvania, Maryland and New York. Her tenure also included leading Magee-Womens Hospital from 2004 to 2018. UPMC has earned accolades as being among the “most-wired” health systems, as rated by the College of Health Information Management Executives. That’s in part through investments of more than $2.4 billion in technology over the past five years, according to UPMC.
