In November, Pegus joined Morgan Health, a JPMorgan Chase business unit focused on improving employer-sponsored healthcare. She will help shape Morgan Health’s population-based health initiatives, including investing in new care delivery models focused on improving health outcomes. Before taking on her new role, she spent two years as Walmart’s executive vice president of health and wellness, earning a reputation for her clinical expertise and healthcare business acumen. Under her leadership, Walmart acquired telehealth provider MeMD; struck a 10-year deal with UnitedHealth Group; and added more than a dozen clinics to its portfolio. Pegus, a cardiologist who has served on the board of the American Heart Association, will continue to work as a senior adviser to Walmart.
