Jacobson has led Froedtert for a decade, first coming onboard in 2010 as vice president of finance and strategy, chief financial officer and chief strategy officer. This year, the 10-hospital system under her leadership has partnered with eight-hospital ThedaCare to invest $111 million on two health campuses slated to open in 2024. One of Jacobson’s top priorities has been addressing the issue of staffing shortages. To fill the gaps in skilled healthcare workers, Froedtert Hospital partnered with the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Milwaukee Area Technical College to establish a $12 million scholarship fund to be used over 20 years.
