In May, the company announced a private-equity joint venture with Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe, spending up to $1.2 billion to build about 100 senior-focused primary care clinics between 2023 and 2025. The deal follows a similar partnership to deploy up to $800 million to open 67 clinics by early 2023. This year, the company publicized its plans to undergo a massive reorganization to split into two units: an insurance division and a healthcare services arm. Broussard has said the structure will promote collaboration and centralize operations.
