Walsh, who was tapped to lead the nine-hospital integrated system in 2017, has held senior-level leadership roles at HealthPartners for more than 20 years.  Since taking the helm, Walsh has overseen mergers with Renville County Hospital and Clinics and with Hutchinson Health. Last year, she laid out a five-year partnership with 11-hospital Allina Health tying reimbursement structures to specific measures such as reducing hospital readmissions, growing coordination of care and improving preventive care. Under her leadership, the organization also worked with Avera Health this year to add two health plan options for employers in nine Minnesota counties.
