Dr. Anne Klibanski
President and CEO, Mass General Brigham
Since becoming CEO in 2019, Klibanski has been working to expand services and virtual-care capabilities at the integrated academic healthcare system, which comprises 12 hospitals, including five academic hospitals. In her efforts to transform care delivery, she has led clinical integration of key patient services across the system, development of new digital platforms, including virtual urgent care and streamlined online second opinions. She also increased investment in research that has the potential to revolutionize treatments in gene and cell therapy. Under her leadership, the system has invested heavily in community well-being, with a focus on mental health programs, and has begun an anti-racism campaign. Before taking the top job, Klibanski was the system’s chief academic officer and chief of neuroendocrine medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital.
