In 2020, then Utah Gov. Gary Herbert tapped Moore to serve on the state’s COVID-19 task force to coordinate with infectious-disease, public health, government, business, religious and community leaders. She played a key role in developing ProjectProtect, the largest volunteer effort in Utah since the 2002 Winter Olympics, which rallied 50,000 volunteers to produce massive quantities of personal protective equipment. She also organized Intermountain’s MaskUp campaign and launched a free call-in resource for people seeking emotional help. She serves as executive sponsor of Intermountain’s Women in Leadership Program.
