Rajput played a leading role in building the health system’s COVID-19 vaccine distribution strategy from scratch, with an emphasis on at-risk communities. The program resulted in 530,000 vaccines administered by Northwell at more than 100 fixed and pop-up sites. Rajput worked with state government officials to develop the vaccine distribution effort, resulting in a “hub” approach that she came up with. Rajput also led efforts to use predictive modeling to reach at-risk communities.
