System vice president of community health, Baylor Scott & White Health
Shah launched the Texas health system’s digital health office and led creation of its first telepsychiatry program. Also, Shah is credited with launching Connecting the Dots, an annual full-day symposium that brings providers, community groups, social workers, government officials and others together to discuss and find solutions for improving care and addressing social determinants for underserved populations. The program started in 2017 with 180 people from 27 organizations and has grown to 300 people from more than 50 groups.
