Even as the pandemic was unfolding, Jones led the health system through a strategic planning process, focusing teams of more than 200 leaders on such issues as growth and equity while using real-time data to drive the process. Jones previously led development of Duke’s distributed network and ambulatory strategy, including creation of a behavioral health program that resulted in the opening of Duke’s Behavioral Health Center in April 2021.
