During the pandemic, Strittmatter oversaw efforts to quickly update the system’s database to gather more actionable information. She also launched an employee resource center and established a call center that handled 80,000 encounters in the first 12 months of the pandemic. The resource center offered COVID testing, fit tests for masks and vaccinations. She also led development of the system’s contact-tracing program and initiated efforts to better address employee physical and emotional well-being.
