Blair Fjeseth,
33
Vice president of government and public relations, Mountain Health CO-OP
Fjeseth created a monthly member educational effort that keeps members in three largely rural states—Idaho, Montana and Wyoming—up to date on their benefits and available services. She also played an instrumental role in adding new benefits not previously covered by the plan—dental and vision—and launched efforts to make more prescriptions available, including insulin, anti-depressants, heart medications and inhalers. She created education campaigns for members and other residents in the market searching words like “depression” or “suicide” to direct them to the appropriate resources.
