Turnbull plays a key role in making sure that DEI is embedded throughout the insurer’s corporate culture, including leading the Center for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. The center works to ensure that DEI is also a key focus for products the company brings to market. Under her leadership to make DEI a corporate priority, 44% of HCSC’s workforce are people of color; 36% of the overall management team are represented by people of color; 32% of directors and above are people of color, including the company’s president and CEO. Additionally, 74% of the workforce are women and 63% of women are represented in management positions.
