Dr. Rhonda Medows
President of population health management, Providence and CEO, Ayin Health Solutions
Medows has long been one of the nation’s leaders in building out population health strategies. She pushed efforts at Providence to ensure the health system committed $50 million over five years to address COVID-19’s impact on under-resourced populations and reduce health social inequities. At Ayin, Medows is working on efforts to help the homeless and disadvantaged populations receive better access during the pandemic, including working with organizations to waive all billing for coronavirus-related care as one step to encourage people to get tested and vaccinated. And when the pandemic first hit in Washington state, she quickly organized an effort that resulted in significant donations of supplies to 63 shelters and more than 1,000 food banks.
