Musallam, a Jordanian immigrant, is CEO and managing partner of Veritas Capital and founding member of the firm’s first institutional fund. Veritas specializes in acquiring companies in heavily regulated industries like healthcare. He previously worked at Pritzker & Pritzker, a private equity group, and Berkshire Partners, a Boston-based private equity firm. He launched his career at J.P. Morgan. He received an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Musallam speaks: “I and the firm maintain a very close proximity to government because government is at the forefront of all the complexities and issues that confront us. These are government-influenced markets, no doubt about it, and being close to how the government thinks about those markets enables us to understand how we can best invest.”
