Mary Kay Henry
Service Employees International Union (SEIU)
As SEIU president, Henry leads an organization with 2 million members. She earned recognition for her decision to back service and care workers in the "Fight for $15" movement, which helped 24 million workers earn wage increases. The first woman elected to lead SEIU, Henry promotes unions for all to negotiate on jobs, healthcare, immigration, and safety.
Henry speaks: “We need to rewrite the rules to make it easier for every worker to join a union. When all workers, no matter where they’re from or who signs their paychecks, have a seat at the table, we’ll be that much closer to an economy that works for all of us.”
