Joe Biden
President of the United States, U.S. Executive
As president, Biden has led the national response to COVID-19 and championed passage of the Build Back Better Act, which addresses economic well-being, social justice and climate change. Biden represented Delaware for 36 years in the U.S. Senate before becoming the 47th Vice President and 46th President of the United States. As vice president in the Obama administration, Biden fought to reduce gun violence, counter violence against women, end cancer and pass the Affordable Care Act.
Biden speaks: “Healthcare is a right, not a privilege. No one should have to lay awake at night staring at the ceiling wondering what they are going to do to get the care they need or to pay the bills if a family member gets sick. That is why I will do everything in my power to ensure that all Americans have access to the quality, affordable healthcare they deserve–and the peace of mind it brings."
