Jim Hinton will retire from the position in January 2022. Hinton has led 50 hospitals, as well as the Scott and White Health Plan, Baylor Scott & White Research Institute, and Baylor Scott & White Quality Alliance. Before Baylor, he was president and CEO of Presbyterian Healthcare Services. He chaired the board of trustees of the American Hospital Association and served on the board of group purchasing organization, Premier.
