Ernest Grant
President, American Nurses Association
Grant has more than 30 years of nursing experience, earning recognition for his work in burn care and safety. He served as outreach coordinator for the burn center at University of North Carolina Hospitals where he the oversaw professional burn education and burn prevention. Grant was inducted as a fellow into the American Academy of Nursing and is the first man to win election as president of the ANA.
Grant speaks: “Nurses must be protected and supported so they can continue to care for patients and educate the public. We must safeguard nurses’ and other front-line providers’ well-being and heed their invaluable insights so that the nation can recover faster and stronger.”
