Dr. Tejal Gandhi
Chief safety and transformation officer, Press Ganey Associates
Gandhi has long been recognized as one of the industry’s most powerful and influential voices on patient safety. At Press Ganey, she leads the Equity Partnership, a collaborative aimed at addressing healthcare disparities. She is also the leading voice behind the Zero Harm movement. Before joining Press Ganey, she was chief clinical and safety officer at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement and prior to that was president and CEO of the National Patient Safety Foundation before it merged with IHI.
Gandhi speaks: “Institutions everywhere have confronted workforce shortages due to employee burnout and leaders have been forced to shift staff member roles as a result. It’s important now more than ever to address challenges to coordinated care and optimize teamwork.”
