Isaacs is CEO and executive director of the Permanente Medical Group (serving 4.5 million members in Northern California) and president and CEO of the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (serving nearly 800,000 members across Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia). Isaacs also serves as co-CEO of the Permanente Federation, which provides leadership to all Permanente medical groups. Isaacs previously was physician-in-chief for the Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento Medical Center. Modern Healthcare recognized Isaacs as one of 2021’s Most Influential Clinical Executives.
