Pegus came to Walmart from Cambia Health Solutions, where she was president of consumer health solutions and chief medical officer. After working as a cardiologist, Pegus joined Pfizer to focus on disease management and clinical protocols. She also worked at Aetna and was the first CMO for Walgreens. Pegus sits on the board of the American Heart Association.
