In addition to his role in creating Civica Rx, Liljenquist has been instrumental in the founding of Graphite Health, a not-for-profit member-led company focused on digital healthcare, which launched in October. Modeled on Civica Rx, Graphite Health will focus on healthcare interoperability challenges. Liljenquist is board chair of Graphite Health and Intermountain Healthcare is one of the company’s first three organizing members.

At Intermountain, Liljenquist oversees the enterprise initiatives, marketing intelligence and planning. Previously he served in the Utah State Senate, where he earned praise for his work on Medicaid and pension reform. Liljenquist received his law degree from the University of Chicago Law School.
