Lamont founded Oak HC/FT, a venture capital firm that invests in early- to growth-stage tech companies with a focus on healthcare and financial services. Lamont was the first recipient of the National Venture Capital Association’s award for Excellence in Healthcare Innovation and was honored with the Healthcare Private Equity Association’s Russell L. Carson Award for lifetime achievement in healthcare investing. She participates in the Innovation and Investment Summit, a collaboration between the Health and Human Services Department and experts in healthcare innovation and investment.
