Senior vice president of patient care services and chief nursing officer,
City of Hope
Among a lengthy list, Brown oversees clinical nutrition, rehab services, respiratory care, and is responsible for professional practice standards. Under her leadership, City of Hope earned its first-ever Magnet recognition from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. And it’s not the first time she’s led a nursing team to that status. Similarly, the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center—Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute first earned Magnet status in 2013 when Brown served as CNO.
