Crane took over as CMO at TeamHealth in May 2019 and has focused a lot of work on performance improvement, including efforts to be more proactive using analytics and improving collaborations with physicians and nurses. In January 2020, Crane helped create TeamHealth’s Emerging Infectious Disease Task Force to study the effects of COVID-19 and ensure that best practices were spread across care settings. The task force has shared its findings broadly, not just TeamHealth sites.
